Several towns in Nepal remain hidden. These very towns possess unique beauty from their natural and cultural heritage. One such place is Bandipur. Located halfway from Kathmandu to Pokhara, Newari people mostly populate the town. If you are seeking a cultural insight through travel, this tour is the best option for you.

We begin our Bandipur Tour with a drive from Kathmandu to Bandipur. The scenic drive takes you to the famous Prithivi highway that runs through spectacular landscapes. After about 4 to 5 hours, you reach the town of Bandipur. The town located on the foothills of the Himalayas also provides ravishing views of the Himalayas and several landscapes, including the Marsayangdi river valley.

We explore the Bandipur town afternoon. The mountain village of Bandipur is the perfect place to get to know about the Newari and Gurung people. The rich cultural heritage and the unique community that populates Bandipur reflect the pristine aesthetic beauty of Nepal. The age-old cultural attributes that are still intact reflect the town’s key beauty. The temples, shrines, holy caves, and the intricate Newari architecture will leave you mesmerized. Later in the afternoon, we hike towards Bandipur’s viewpoint from where we see the adorable view of sunset and sunrise as well as the breathtaking view of Annapurna and Manaslu mountain ranges.

The following morning, we enjoy the morning sunrise and view of the Himalaya and dig deeper into Bandipur. After breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu. On the way, we will visit Siddha Cave or Siddha Gufa. It is the second-largest cave in Nepal, located in Bimalnagar, Tanahun district.
