Annapurna Poon Hill Trek

This short and sweet Annapurna Panorama (Ghorepani-Poon Hill) Trek is designed for those who have a short vacation and don’t have the time to trek for a longer period. The trek is one of the most beautiful adventure journeys in the Annapurna region. It takes trekkers through the traditional Nepali villages, and offers great views of both agricultural and mountain landscapes.

The Annapurna Panorama trek starts from Nayapul after a short drive from Pokhara. The trail passes through picturesque Gurung and Magar villages and forests of rhododendron and oak. Ghandruk is the largest Gurung village in the area and was once the headquarters of the Annapurna Conservation Area Project that maintained the Annapurna region as one of the best conserved eco-tourism destinations in Nepal.

Pun Hill is one of the finest viewpoints in western Nepal, offering great vistas taking in mountains such as Dhaulagiri (8172m) and Annapurna-I (8091m).
