Ambar Tamang (MD and Trip Leader)
Ambar was born in a remote village of Solukhumbu, the lower section of Everest region. His small village (Lumsa) is off the main trekking route. He started his career in trekking from 1994 as a cook helper. He has received training and participated in many different workshops and seminars related to culture and sustainable tourism. He has been working in tourism, especially outdoor trips since 1994, and as a guide since 1998. He has over 20 years experience and keen knowledge of the mountain tourism business in Nepal. He has completed Wilderness First Aid training from KEEP (Kathmandu Environment Education Project), Trekking Guide Training from Nepal Academy of Tourism & Hotel Management (NATHM), Cook Training from Discovery Nepal Pvt. Ltd, Conservation & Ecological Tourism Workshop from KEEP from Pokhara and Five days Leadership Course from KEEP. In 2009/2010 he served as an assistant instructor of wilderness first aid training at KEEP. He has been trekking and exploring most parts of the Nepal Himalayan Valleys and climbed three technical mountain peaks, Singu Chuli 6501m, Island Peak 6198m, Yala Peak 5732m and specializes in exploring off-the-beaten-track adventures. He currently lives with his wife and family near Boudha, Kathmandu. He still has a keen interest in food, and loves to cook.
Lok Tamang (Trekking Guide)
He was born in Solukhumbu in the lower Everest region. He is one of the important and experienced members of Blossom Expeditions. He has been working in trekking since 2007and got his guide training from Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM) in 2012 and Eco leadership training from Kathmandu Environments Education Project (KEEP) including first Aid. He has trekked most of popular trekking areas including Everest, Langtang, Annapurna, Dolpo, Mustang, Manaslu and Tibet as well.
Bir Kaji Tamang (Climbing Guide)
He is also from remote a village of Gorakhani, Solukhumbu. He is one of our most qualified climbing guides and successful climbers. He has served with several expeditions including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Lhotse, Mt. Everest South Col and North Col, as well as leading our other trekking-peak climbing. He has been working in climbing since 2001. He received basic and advance mountaineering training from Nepal mountaineering Association and guide training from Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM).
Pasang Dorjee (Trekking Guide)
Our experienced senior trekking guide from Solukhumbu, Pasang Dorjee has been serving as a trekking guide for more than 20 years and has worked in most of the remote trekking areas of the Nepal Himalayas. He received guide training from Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM) and First Aid training from Kathmandu Environments Education Project (KEEP).
Nuru Sherpa (Trekking Cook)
He is our most reliable and knowledgeable team member from Solukhumbu. He has been working in trekking for more than 25 years and has traveled the entire Himalayan region of Nepal. He is a main source of information in our company and master in preparing trekker's and mountaineer's food in any condition.
Lakpa Tamang (Senior Guide)
He was born in lower Solukhumbu. He began his trekking career in 1994 as a trekking porter, and as soon after he became an assistant guide. He speaks English, Japanese and Tibetan and has explored most parts of the Nepal and Tibet. He is a knowledgeable and experienced team member in Blossom Expeditions. He got his guide training from Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM) and Eco leadership training from Kathmandu Environment Education Project (KEEP) including first Aid and has participated in different training programs, workshops and seminars related to culture and sustainable tourism.
K.B. Tamang (Guide/Cook)
He is a very intelligent and experienced staff in our company and our best a cook and guide. He also comes from the lower Solukhumbu region. He has been working in trekking for more than 30 years and has traveled in most part of the country. He is a trained guide from Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM), including first aid. He has trekked most of popular trekking areas including Everest, Langtang, Annapurna, Dolpo, Mustang, Manaslu, Makalu, Kanchenjunga and Tibet as well.
Kaji Sherpa (Climbing/Mountain Bike Guide)
Mr. Kaji Sherpa is our most trained climbing and mountain bike guides. He has been involved in the mountaineering field since 1984 and mountain biking since 1997. He summited Mt. Everest five times including dozens of other Himalayan peaks. Kaji was the winner of the famous World's Highest Mountain Bike Race "Yak Attack 2008" and he won than a dozen other bike races. He received basic and advanced mountaineering training from Nepal Mountaineering Association, guide training from Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM) and First Aid training from Kathmandu Environment Education Project (KEEP). He is originally from a remote village of Solukhumbu. He now lives in Kathmandu with his family.
Anjani Tamang (communication & marketing)
Anjani Tamang was born in Kathmandu. She passed her SLC from Greenland International Boarding school, higher secondary School from Morgan International College and running her bachelor in business studies third year (BBS) in Budhanilkantha Campus, Kathmandu. She is one of active and smart staff of our company working as communication/marketing officer. She has received basic /advance computer courses and basic graphic and online marketing (SEO). She is interested in tourism and outdoor activities.
