Namo Buddha Panauti Tour is an absolutely ideal religious and historical site tour package. Namo Buddha is a Buddhist pilgrimage site located in the Kavre district, 40km east-south from Kathmandu. The Stupa built in this hill symbolizes an ancient holy site which signifies as the place where a legendry prince Mahasattva (Lord Buddha in his previous life was born as the youngest son of King Maharatta) offered himself to a starving tigress with its cubs. According to mythology, Lord Buddha in his previous life was born as the youngest son of King Maharatha and his name was Prince Mahasattva. One day he went to the forest with his two elder brothers for hunting.

While they were roaming around in the forest, they found a Tigress with her cubs. The Tigress family was very weak, and could hardly move as they were starving. Prince inspected the wretched situation of Tigress and her Cubs. Prince Brothers left the den and while they were returning to their home, Prince Mahasattva kept thinking of Tigress and her Cubs. He decided to help to starve the Tigress family and return to the den. He offers his own flesh to Tigress and her Cubs. Later his two elder brothers came to search for him at the Tigress’s den, they only saw his bones and hairs. In the memory of Prince Mahasattva, The king, Queen, and his brothers build a stupa that is now popular among the Buddhist community.

Namo Buddha is a beautiful and quiet place. The small but beautiful hill station is a great travel destination for both Pilgrimage and Holiday. We can enjoy magnificent scenery and splendid Mountains view. Here one can be at peaceful state of mind with a natural setting and it’s the best place to meditate. We can visit ThranguTashiYangtse Monastery where more than 250 monks reside.

Panautiis a beautiful ancient Newari town located in east-south from Kathmandu valley. This town used to be the trading hub between India-Nepal-Tibet. Ancient Panauti city used to be an independent kingdom and was given by the King of Bhaktapur to his sister as a dowry. Panauti lies between the confluence of the Rosi and Punyamati Rivers. Both rivers are believed to have had religious importance from an early time. It is believed that if you take a bath into those rivers you will be free from sins and worries.

The main attraction is anIndreshworMahadev Temple. This three-story magnificent pagoda-style Hindu temple is dedicated to the god Shiva and incredible piece of Newari architecture. It was built in 13 century. Next to the river banks, there are a few more temples, among them, Brahmayani and Krishna Narayan Temples are quite impressive. On the West of Indreshwor Templewe can see an old royal place which is now under excavation.
