Sanga Nagarkot Day Hike

Sanga Nagarkot Day Hike is a new hiking destination nearby Kathmandu city. It is probably the best one-day hiking destinations. The Day hike starts from SangaBhanjyang, which is located south-east of Kathmandu valley. On this one-day hike you can see the most captivating view of Kathmandu as well as Banepa Valley.

The hiking discovers the beautiful hillside villages, incredible terraced farmlands, and viewpoints that provide a fabulous view of both Kathmandu and Banepa valley. Along the way, you will get the opportunity to see and visit various temples, such as the small Saraswati Temple, the newly constructing gorgeous LatarambheshworMahadev Temple, the PalanchekiBhagwati Temple, and the Indrasheva Temple. You can also visit the magnificent Buddhist Monastery DhakpeSedrupling at NalaBhanjyang. From NalaBhanjhyang, we hike through the beautiful and pleasant, clean, and enjoyable Pine forest to Dulal village.

The hike continues uphill to Nagarkot View Point via Kalmasi. Nagarkot View Point is located east to Kathmandu at an elevation of 2175m above sea level, from where you can see the panoramic Himalayan vista from Manaslu to the west and Everest to the east.
