Climb One of Nepal’s Most Beautiful Mountains
The Ama Dablam Expedition is one of the most popular and technically challenging climbing adventures in Nepal. Standing at 6812 meters, Ama Dablam is famous for its stunning pyramid-shaped peak and spectacular location in the Everest Region. The summit offers breathtaking panoramic views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Cho Oyu, Island Peak, and many other Himalayan giants.

Expedition Journey Through the Everest Region
The journey begins in Kathmandu with expedition preparation, official permits, and documentation. A scenic mountain flight then takes you to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest Region. From Lukla, the trek follows the beautiful Dudh Koshi Valley through traditional Sherpa villages, rhododendron forests, and high suspension bridges toward Namche Bazaar.

After acclimatization in Namche, the trail continues through Tengboche, Debuche, Pangboche, and Pheriche before reaching Everest Base Camp and Kalapatthar for a close-up view of Mount Everest and better acclimatization. Along the way, you will experience the rich Sherpa culture and visit the famous Tengboche Monastery, the largest Buddhist monastery in the Khumbu Region, as well as the historic Pangboche Monastery.

Technical Climbing Adventure to Ama Dablam Summit
After proper acclimatization, climbers reach Ama Dablam Base Camp at 4,570 meters. The expedition involves climbing through three high camps before reaching the summit. The section between Camp 2 and Camp 3 is considered the most technical and challenging because of the steep snow and ice terrain. Previous mountaineering experience is strongly recommended for this expedition.

Best Time for the Ama Dablam Expedition
Spring (April to May) and autumn (October to November) are considered the best seasons for the Ama Dablam Expedition because of the stable weather and clear mountain views.
