During the flight, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri Ranges. From Pokhara, an exciting jeep drive follows the Kali Gandaki River Valley through the world’s deepest gorge, passing traditional villages in the Kali Gandaki Valley before reaching Muktinath.
Spiritual Significance of Muktinath
Located at 3,710 meters, Muktinath, also known as Mukti Kshetra (place of liberation), is sacred to Hindus, Buddhists, and Bon followers. The main temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, features 108 holy water spouts known as Mukti Dhara, where pilgrims bathe for spiritual purification before entering the main temple. Nearby, the Jwala Mai Temple houses a natural eternal flame, symbolizing divine energy and religious harmony.
In addition, the breathtaking landscapes of Mustang and the magnificent views of Mount Dhaulagiri and its surrounding peaks, including Nilgiri, make the Muktinath Tour a truly meaningful and memorable experience.
Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing
The tour includes visits to major spiritual and heritage landmarks in Kathmandu, such as Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath, and Budhanilkantha Temple. You will also explore Kathmandu Durbar Square, rich in history, art, and architecture.
Pokhara Tour Highlights
In Pokhara, enjoy boating on Phewa Lake and visit Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, Devi’s Fall, World Peace Pagoda, and Pumdikot Shiva Statue. The International Mountain Museum offers insights into Himalayan culture and mountaineering history.
