Trekking through the narrow canyons, beautiful forests, dramatic mountain cliffs, Waterfalls, remote Tibetan villages, beautiful ancient Tibetan Buddhist monasteries, colorful Mani walls, Stupas, and stunning Mountain views are the most unforgettable experience of the trip.

Nar Phu Valley or Villages were unknown to the rest of the country. Although, the region was close to the Lamjung district located in the south. Despite Lamjung being the central administration of the area, it was outside their outlook post. Manang (closest neighbor Village) dominated Nar and Phu villages in many aspects. Nar and Phu villagers were the main source of labor, Yak (for Meat) and Butter for people of Manang. Around 1960 the Khampas (Tibetan warriors) arrived in the Nar Phu valley. They made their actual presence from 1964 and the dominant area until they were driven out of Nepal entirely. Khampas were powerful than the local residents. They dominated the villagers and secured the place for farming and pasture. Nar-Phu valley was opened for foreigners in 2002. It is a restricted area and needs a special permit for trekking and climbing.

Nar Phu Valley Trekking starts from Kathmandu. Drive to Besisahar will let you enter the remote countryside and continue to drive ahead to Koto. From where you leave the popular Annapurna circuit trail. You are heading northeast following Nar Khola (River). Nar Phu Valley is a captivating adventure journey in the Annapurna region. A deep river gorge, massive mountain cliffs, rushing River, and Waterfall make your trek more exciting ahead.

Nar and Phu are the largest villages in this valley and are situated in the northeast of the Annapurna region and east of Manang, surrounded by beautiful snowcapped mountains. During the Nar Phu Trekking, beautifully crafted colorful Mani Walls, Stupas, and ancient Buddhist Monasteries can be seen along the path. At the same time, you will be experiencing Tibetan Buddhist culture, Religion, and warm hospitality. Kang La pass (5320m) is the highest point of the trek. It provides a magnificent Mountain View of both sides and the valleys, including massive Annapurnas.
