Journey from Sundarijal to Chisopani
Your adventure begins with an hour bus ride from Kathmandu to Sundarijal. From there, the trail ascends alongside the Bagmati River, passing through the forested areas. As you reach Mulkharka, you’ll be treated to panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley, far removed from the city’s hustle and bustle. After a one-and-a-half-hour climb from Mulkharka, you pass Borlang Bhanjhyang and then descend for an hour to Chisopani. Chisopani is situated north of Kathmandu at an altitude of 2,135 meters.
Spectacular Himalayan Views
The trek offers continuous views of the Himalayas, including the Annapurna massif and Manaslu, the world’s eighth-highest mountain. From Chisopani, the trail heads south, following gentle ridges. Along the way, you might spot some wildlife, adding some excitement to your adventure.
