02 Early morning drive to Ramechap (Manthali), fly to Lukla (2800m), and trek to Phakding-2645m. Trek 3-4 hours
03 Trek to Namche Bazaar-3440m. 6-7 hours
04 Acclimatization day at Namche and hike to Everest View Hotel (3890m) and back to Namche
05 Trek to Tyangboche-3870m. 5-6 hours
06 Trek to Dingboche-4360m. 5-6 hours
07 Acclimatization day. Climb the Nagartsang peak (5083m) and back to Dingboche
08 Trek to Lobuche-4930m. 5-6 hours

Note:
In the peak season (March–May and October–November), most Lukla flights operate from Ramechhap (Manthali) due to increased air traffic in Kathmandu airport. It is about 135 km east of Kathmandu and takes a 3–4 hour drive. To avoid a very early departure from Kathmandu, adding one extra day will make your journey more comfortable and less stressful.
