The journey begins with an exciting mountain flight to Lukla, a small town nestled on a dramatic mountainside. Note: During the peak trekking seasons (March–May and October–November), most flights to Lukla operate from Manthali Airport (Ramechhap) instead of Kathmandu due to increased air traffic. This helps ensure smoother flight schedules and more reliable operations.
