Balthali Village Tour

The Balthali village area is an excellent destination for short walk and tours. As it is the nearest destination from Kathmandu city, the region is also suitable to visit for a short vacation. To make the Tour more fruitful, Blossom Expeditions also included the old Newari city of Panauti and Khopshi. You may not have heard much about the city of Panauti. It is located in the south of Kathmandu Valley. The city is situated at the confluence of two rivers Roshi and Punyamati. Panauti has been considered an important religious place since a very early time. In Nepali society Rivers are considered as sacred. Visiting such places or just one indecency enables the visitor to be free from many sins and worries. The massive three-story IndreswarMahadev Temple and many other historical and archeological temples and sitescan be seen in Panauti.

Balthali Village Tour begins from Kathmandu, an hour’s drive to Panauti. We visit the Panauti Heritage site and old Newari town, including the old royal place area. Have lunch and a short drive to Khopashi, and from there, we start a short hike to Balthali. You will be hiking through picturesque villages, Beautiful Paddy fields, lush green forests, and Rivers. Late afternoon we enjoy the surrounding view from the resort and relax. The next day early in the morning, we see beautiful sunrise and Mountain View, and after breakfast drive back to Kathmandu.
