Trip FAQs
What is the best time to start the Pokhara Day Tour?
To experience the breathtaking Himalayan sunrise, the tour starts early, around 4:45–5:15 AM (depending on the season). This ensures you reach the Sarangkot viewpoint in time to enjoy panoramic views of the Pokhara Valley and Annapurna range.
Can I see Mount Everest from Pokhara?
No, Mount Everest is located in eastern Nepal. However, Pokhara offers spectacular views of the Annapurna Massif, Dhaulagiri, and the iconic Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), which are dramatic and closer to the city.
Is one day enough to explore Pokhara?
A one-day tour covers the major highlights, including Sarangkot, Davi’s Falls, World Peace Pagoda, and Pumdikot Shiva Statue. For adventure sports like paragliding or visits to more remote lakes such as Begnas Lake, a 2–3 day stay is recommended.
Why is Davi’s Falls famous?
Davi’s Falls is unique because the water from Pardi Khola disappears into an underground tunnel called Patale Chhango instead of flowing into a river. The waterfall is most impressive during or after the monsoon season.
Is the tour suitable for seniors and children?
