For those seeking adventure in less crowded areas, Pikey Dudh Kunda Trekking in the lower Solukhumbu region of Nepal is an excellent option. This trek is divided into two separate areas and offers a unique experience with breathtaking views of majestic Himalayan ranges. The area is less crowded and not as commercialized as other popular trekking areas, making it a perfect destination for those who prefer a quieter environment. The Pikey Peak Dudh Kunda Trek takes you through ancient trading routes and provides a glimpse into the lives of different ethnic groups living in the area.

The trek begins in Kathmandu, where you will have the opportunity to explore the city’s culture before embarking on an exciting overland journey to Dhap. The Pikey Dudh Kunda Trek route follows the traditional path taken by local traders to Jiri and Okhaldhunga before road construction. Along the way, you will pass by the beautiful Jhapre Gumpa (Monastery) located on top of a hill, 2820m above sea level. From there, continue heading northeast to Pikey Base Camp via Lhamuche Danda.

On the following day, you will ascend the summit of Pikey Peak (4040m.) to witness awesome and grand panoramic views of Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Gaurishankar, Number Himal, Everest, Makalu, and Kanchenjunga Himalayan ranges. The Part of Dudh Kunda trek continues via Thupten Chholing Buddhist Monastery to a series of beautiful holy lakes. Dudh Kunda (4190m) is a small, milky holy lake surrounded by a spectacular landscape that will touch your heart. The trek offers views of the Khumbu range from every campsite, including Mt. Everest (8848m), Makalu (8475m), Kanchenjunga (8598m), Cho Oyu (8188m), Lhotse (8414m), Thamserku (6608m), Numbur (6656m), Khatang (6853m), and Karilung (6511m). The return trail goes through Chiwang and Phaplu with a flight back to Kathmandu the next day.

Whether you’re looking for a longer or shorter trek, both options offer an excellent opportunity to get away from the stresses of everyday life and immerse yourself in nature and spirituality. So, pack your bags, put on your trekking boots, and head to Nepal for a lifetime of unforgettable memories! The Pikey Peak Dudh Kunda Trekking is a perfect adventure for those who want to explore less-traveled areas of Nepal with unique experiences.
