What is the food like on the Pikey Peak Spring Trek?
Food on the Pikey Peak Spring Trek is simple, fresh, and prepared by local families in traditional tea houses. You will enjoy a mix of local and western meals such as Dal Bhat (rice, lentils, and vegetables), momo, syakpa (Sherpa stew), falgi (local corn soup), potato bread, pasta, spaghetti, chowmein, soups, and bread. We recommend eating freshly cooked food and avoiding raw items unless they are properly cleaned or treated.
How can I get safe drinking water during the trek?
You can fill water from taps and purify it using iodine tablets, other purification tablets, or a Steripen. You can also buy boiled water from tea houses at any time of the day, which is the safest option and does not need further treatment. Please avoid drinking water directly from taps, streams, or jars, as it may cause stomach problems. If you buy bottled water, always check the expiration date.

The Pikey Peak Spring Trek is a moderate trek and is suitable for both beginners and experienced trekkers. You will walk around 5–7 hours each day, with the highest point at 4,065 meters. You do not need previous trekking experience, but being reasonably fit will help you enjoy the trek more. As long as you are in good physical condition, you can complete this trek comfortably.
